Name: Seth Harwood
Where do you write? Can you write when traveling?
I write at home, in my office (which is also my bedroom) at my desk, in the mornings. I sometimes can get some editing and revision done when I travel, but I have a hard time writing when I’m on the move.
Can you work with music or the tv on?
Nope. I wish I could listen to music sometimes, but I like to have the quiet to keep my mind on track.
What are the five things you must have when you’re working?
A good pen, my laptop--an Apple MacBook, a glass of water, my big-ass keyboard that I plug into the laptop, and a cool writing program I’m using now called Scrivener
What’s the strangest place you’ve ever been when struck by a flash of inspiration and started scribbling notes down for a story idea?
Wow. It’s hard to think of a place that this hasn’t happened. But I’ll go with the rural backwoods of Georgia because it really, really felt strange to be there at the time.
